Newcastle University announces new programmes

BANGALORE: Newcastle University, UK has introduced six new post graduate and research programmes in the field of Architecture, Communications, Logistics, Agriculture and Biomedicine.

The new courses introduced this year include: architectural theory and criticism, cardiovascular science in health and diseases, cross cultural communication, neuromuscular diseases, rail freight and logistics and sustainable agriculture and food security. These courses can be pursued full time over a period of 12 months and is specifically aimed at Indian students.

An applicant whose first language is not English is required to appear for IELTS exam and score according to the course prerequisites. The courses will start from September 2013.

The rapid development in the field of management, biomedicine, engineering, logistics and architecture in India has resulted in a huge market demand for skilled professionals in these disciplines."
