Global population percentages and distribution of wealth
The graph above shows information about global population and distribution of wealth according to several regions in the world. In North America, population percentage is far less than global wealth distribution. It has only six percent of population but nearly 35 percent of global wealth. The same situation appears in Europe which has 15 percent of population and 30 percent of wealth distribution and in Rich Asia-Pacific which has five percent of population but almost 25 percent of global wealth distibution.
On the other hand, China, India, Africa, Latin America & Caribean, and other Asia Pacific countries have higher population than spread of global wealth. Proportion between the number of population and spread of global wealth is sequentially 16:3 in Non-Rich Asia Pacific Countries, 10:4 in Africa, and 7:4 in Latin America & Caribean countries. The significant range between population and global wealth happens in China having just two percent of global wealth distribution from approximately 25 percent of population and in India having only one percent of global wealth distribution from 16 percent of population.
