The table depicts the percentage of national consumer expenditure by category of different countries in 2002. there are five rows and three columns while the rows represent the countries and the columns represent the expenses category.

interestingly ,in the year 2002,the highest percentage of the sale fall for the food,drinks and tobacco which was about thirty-two per cents in turkey while the least spending is the leisure and education part about 2 percent from the overall expenses in spain.

The trend of the expenditure of the people in each of the countries seems to be similar for the year of 2002. they spent most of their salary on food,drinks and tobacco for each of the countries , like Ireland,Italy,spain,sweden and turkey ,which are about 28%,16%.19%,15% and32% respectively. nevertheless, the part that costs the least money of the buyers is the leisure and education which are around 3 per cents for all the countries in 2002. clothing and footwear became the moderate section for consumers to consider. they tend to buy about six per cents in Ireland, spain,Sweden and turkey however a slight higher in pecentage in Italy.

In conclusion,food,drinks and tobacco was the most important part for everyone regardless the countries. adults nearly forgotten the leisure and education as they put in the least money for it.
