WRITING TASK 1 You should spend about 20 minutes on this task.
The graph below shows radio and television audiences throughout the day in 1992.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant
The line graph indicates the percentage of audience of broadcasting media like radio and television respectively whole day in 1992.
As can be seen from the graph that the radio listeners highest ratio was below 30% from 8 to 9 at morning.In contrast ,the highest percentage for television viewer was quite opposite to over 45 between 6 and 10 at evening.Almost 5% people switched on their televisions at 8 :00 am.After which the trend went down slightly and at noon it rose dramatically from 15 % to 45% ,and then dropped midnight at 2:00 pm.
However ,there was continuously downward trend seen for the radio after 10 am ,which marginally fluctuate between 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm to upward.After which trend was again downward, and it met at 2:00 with television percentage to negligible.
Consequently, there was not much listeners of radio most of the people showed there interest in watching television .The trend was almost opposite radio was popular in morning at 8:00 am and television at evening 8:00 pm.
