The bar chart below shows the percentage of Australian men and women in different age groups who did regular physical activity in 2010. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Among the six age groups doing physical activity, even though of the most advanced age, the 65 and over group was steady at 46%. There was only a slight rise in the percentage of males over the females seen in the bar chart.
While women’s dominance in engaging in physical activities was evident across all pairs, only the 15 to 24 age group displayed a rise in male activity at 52.8% compared to females at 47.7%. The rest of the males paled with a steady average of 40%, across all groups, in clear contrast with the females who demonstrated an average of 50% moderate engagement in 4 out of 6 age groups.
Other than the 35 to 44 year old category, who displayed considerable difference, all the other age sectors showed only a slightly higher engagement than their pair. A close second to demonstrating a steep difference between the male and female average was the pair at the 55 to 64 age range.
