The graphs elucidate the information regarding seafood sourcing from foreign countries to the US in a span of 20 years from 1986 to 2016, with the prediction for 2026, and illustration of imports classified according to country of origin for the year 2016 in US.

Overall, the bar chart highlights that there was an upward trend throughout the time period, while in the future, the forecast depicts a shrink in the intake of seafood. Moreover, the pie chart outlines the three countries that contributed the major share in the US market.

At the beginning of the year 1986, the United States import level started with more than 5 billion dollars, was gradually increased to 10 billion dollars in 1996 and jumped to $20 by 2016. However, in the future, by 2016 it was predicted that there would be a decline of about 5 billion dollars from 2016 in seafood purchase.

With regard to the pie chart, it was observed that the top three dominant countries made up the largest share in the United States market share with almost more than two thirds(67%) of total. Having said that, China and Thailand being the popular countries for seafood imports to the US with rates 28% and 23% individually. In contrast, the remaining nations such as Indonesia, Vietnam, Ecuador and others accounted for nearly more than one-third(33%) of total shares.
