The chart below shows how frequently people in the USA ate in fast food restaurants between 2003 and 2013.

The bar graph depicts the information about American people who often ate fast food at restaurants in the year between 2003 and 2013.

Overall, it can be observed from the diagram that almost one-third of Americans went to eat fast food at least once a week or one to two times a month over a decade. However, there were also under 5% of people who either visited every day or never went to a fast-food restaurant in 10 years.

Looking closely at the figures for years 2003 and 2006, it can be obtained that a significant majority over 30% of people went at least once a week to eat fast food. In addition, people who had the habit of eating once or twice a month was nearly one-third. About those who visited several times a week were in between 15% to 20% and all were under 15% who ate few times a year. Lastly, a small minority of less than 5% either never visited or went every day to eat fast food at a restaurant.

Conversely, considering 2013, the trend was similar for daily visitors or who never visited and it was below 5%. Although the rest of frequencies that is several times a week, once a week, few times a year also experienced the similar trend as of 2003 and 2006, it can be clearly seen that the change was in 33% percent of the people of USA went to once or twice a month to eat fast food in 2013 which is the same percentage of Americans who went once a week in 2006.
