The chart below shows male and female fitness membership in Thailand between 1985 and 2015

The bar chart compares the number of Thailanders joining fitness centers in terms of gender from 1985 to 2015.
Overall, it can be seen that the year 2010 witnessed the highest fitness membership in both genders. Furthermore, men had a tendency to care much about their bodies compared to women.
During a period of 10 years from 1985, it is noticeable that the number of males participating in fitness activities completely overwhelmed female members. More remarkably, in 1990, nearly 4000 men allocated their time to physical activities, which was twice that of women. After 2 decades, despite some changes in other examined years, the male fitness membership in Thailand was significant higher than that of the opposite sex, at 5000 and 3000, respectively. These figures also broke previous recorded to become the highest numbers between 1985 and 2015.
In contrast, women tended to spend much time on improving their fitness in 2000-2005. However, the gap between two genders was relatively small, only 1000 people in 2000 and 100 people in the next 5 years. At the end of the period, the female numbers who took part in fitness centers was double that of male with only 1000 people.
