Overall, British visitors tended to go to Theme Parks and visit Museums and Galleries more than Wildlife Parks & Zoos or Historic Houses and Monuments. Specifically, more visitors in Theme Parks liked going to Blackpool Pleasure Beach than other areas.

At the first glance at the pie chart, in 1999, Theme Parks and Museums & Galleries in Britain welcomed 38% and 37% respectively of the total visitors. The proportion decreased gradually when it comes to other attractions. Accordingly, 16% of the tourists visited Historic Houses and Monuments, only 9% chose to go to Wildlife Parks and Zoos.

In British Theme Parks in 1999, the highest percentage of the tourists visited Blackpool Pleasure Beach (47%). The figure dropped to 17% and 16% respectively when it comes to Alton Towers and Pleasureland, Southport. The last 20% of visitors were divided equally to Chessington World of Adventures and Legoland, Windsor.
