The chart gives the account of telephone calls in minutes in the UK, categorized into three types within seven years (1995-2002).

In general,the gradual increase in mobile calls is observed throughout the year although local calls are facing with a decreasing trend whereas the national and international calls increase at the end of the period.

People did the least phone calls in 1995 although more telecommunication is being carried out throughout the years. Despite of a decline trend, local calls stand as the highest in dialing with the peak at 90 billion minutes in both 1998 and 1997. Starting from 2000, the later years witnessed less local call with just over 70 billion minutes in 2002, which has the same record in 1995.

Contractingly, national and international call logs are steadily increasing ;reaching at 60 billion calls minute. It illustrates the gap between the local calls and international calls being narrowed in which it was nearly 30 billions minutes in gap while it is less than 10 billions minutes.

To sum up,  mobile calls become more common as the year goes on while international calls are increasing with the decline in local calls.
