The chart illustrates how many Olympic medals got by twelve different countries ( The USA, The Soviet Union, The UK, France, Germany, Italy, Sweden, Australia, Hungary, East Germany, Japan, and China). And Each country's Olympic medals are categorized into three types as Gold, Silver, and Bronze.

Overall, The number of medals bagged by the USA is significantly more than others and The Soviet Union had got nearly half of the medals won by The USA. In terms of the lowest number of wons, Japan stands first followed by China.

Approximately 950 Gold, 700 Silver, and 700 Bronze medals won by the USA. Comparatively, The Soviet Union bagged around 400 Gold, 250 Silver, and 200 Bronze. Even though Germany had more medals totally than Italy, Italy had a high number of Gold medals around 200 compared to Germany, which accounts for 150 Gold. Similarly, Hungary, East Germany, and China had approximately 170 Gold medals, although their total number of medals count is different. At last, Japan had only around 370 medals total with 100 Gold medals.
