The chart shows how frequently people in the USA ate fast food in restaurants between 2003 and 2013

The provided bar chart illustrates the frequency among USA citizens of having meal in fast food restaurants in three seperate years 2003,2006 and 2013.

Overall, most Americans eat fast food once a week, once or twice a month while the percentage of "eating everyday" and "never" is the lowest during the period.

According to the chart, during 2003 and 2006, the percentage of people consuming fast food weekly is the highest, respectively 31 percents and 33 percents but fell down to 28 percents in 2013. This is in sharp contrast to the group who eat at this kind of restaurants once or twice a month when this figure reach the peak at 33 percents in 2013, while the percentage of the others years is from 25 to 30 percents.

In all three years, more people using fast food restaurant several times a week those who use it a few time a years. People who consume fast food at restaurant daily occupied only 4 percents of the whole population in 2003 but decreased to 3 percents in 2006 and 2013. A similar pattern is repeated in group that never visit fast food restaurants, but here the percentage is 5 percents in 2003 and dropped to about 4 percents in 2006 and 2013.
