The chart shows how frequently people in the USA ate fast food in restaurants between 2003 and 2013

The bar graph depicts the frequency of having fast food meals by Americans at restaurants from 2003 to 2013.The number of frequent fast food consumers dropped. Almost half of the Americans ate fast food in a restaurant either once or more then a few times a week between 2003 and 2013. It is worth nothing that more Americans chose not to eat junk food as frequently as they used to do so in the past.

Overall, according to data , many Americans who used to eat frequently at fast food restaurants has stopped doing so after a decade.

Further more , almost one of twenty Americans ate unhealthy food daily at a restaurant in 2003 while this rate decreased slightly over the period. It is interesting to note that around the same percentage of USA citizens never ate at restaurants. About 17% of Americans ate fast food joints several times a week and the ratio of such people increased in 2006 before it dropped to just over 15% in 2013.

Many Americans preferred eating junk food once a week. Their ratio ,though ,fell by few percentages over time. A similar percentage of Americans had unhealthy food once in a month and their ration went up. Individuals who rarely dined at a fast food restaurant accounted for around 15% of the total.
