The chart shows the results of surveys in one African country asking teenagers the main reasons for using their phones between 2016 and 2019.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The given pie charts illustrate the findings of surveys in an African nation asking teenage people the primary reasons for using their mobile phones from 2016 to 2019.
Overall, the proportions of social networking sites and digital camera increased, while the other two categories decreased. It is also noticeable that the social media occupied the most percentage of all the 4 categories.
Regarding the two upward groups, the social networks and digital camera, the former constituted half of the total proportion in 2016 and fell slightly during the second year. Then it rose to over 50% in 2018 and 2019, becoming the category with the largest percentage. The latter witnessed a similar pattern, beginning with precisely 15% in 2016 and remained unchanged in 2017. This proportion rose by 3% and 5% respectively in the 2 final years.
Concerning the two downward groups, the electronic mails and phone calls, the former took up one fourth of the total proportion in 2016 and then went down over time. The latter covered one tenth of the entire proportion in the first year and grew to 13% in 2017. However, it decreased to 11% and 5% during the last two years, making it the category with the smallest proportion.
