The charts providing the information about two countries in terms of their participation in education and investment on research and development between 1980 and 1990.
Overall, developed industrialized countries performance were tremendously in compare to developing countries. Industrialized countries outraced developing in terms of quality of education, scientists and technician and funding their research and development.
In 1980, developed countries had about 8.2% of average years of schooling, and had more than 40 scientists and technicians per 1000 people. it means peoples are well educated and responsible toward their nations. Then, figures showed it rose to approximately 9% and about 70 people join in scientists and technicians’ team in 1990, where on developing countries had less than 2.5% of average years of schooling and had less than 15 people in scientists and technicians’ teams in 1980, significantly lower than developed countries, However, it rose to approximately by 3.5% of average schooling and just increase 5 people in scientists’ teams in 1990.
It also can see that the reason behind developed countries were top in all categories is that it invested more than 180 billion dollars in 1980, and increasing their cash funds to approximately 340 billion in 1990. Whereas, only less than 40 billion where spend in 1980 and reduce to 20 billion in 1990 by developing countries.
