The charts below show the number of Japanese tourists traveling abroad between 1985 and 1995 and Australia's share of the Japanese tourist market.

The Bar chart illustrates the number of tourist from Japan, who travelled abroad during period of 10 years, 1985 to 1995. The unit is measured in millions. At the same time, line graph represents the people who spent to Australia as tourist during same period.

Overall, it is clearly understood from the given information that over the time number of people who went to Australia as a tourist from Japan had increased with rise in total number of tourist from Japan.

During year of 1985, around 5 million people went abroad for vacation from Japan but at the same time no one went to Australia. Afterwards, there was linear increase in number of tourist and people who visited Australia up to year of 1995.Although, there was a rise of 1 million people in total number of tourist from Japan in year 1989 to 1990, and people who visited Australia during same time got fall down by 5%.

On the other, total number of tourist were reduced in 1991 by less than a half million but visitors to Australia were increased in same period by nearly one and half percent. After this, both the chart were steadily increased till 1995 with reaching all time high number of tourist by 15 million and visitors to Australia by around 6% of total during that year.
