The given graphs provide the information about employment patterns in the UK in 2010 and the data was presented by gender. Overall, it is readily apparent that more men than women working in manual labour. Additionally, both female and male employees were less interested in working in general labourers.
Moving to the details, as many as 38% of males worked in managerial and professional field, meanwhile just below a fourth of females was employed in this sector. Large proportion of women and men worked as manual workers with females accounting for 31% and males making up just 4% below that off women. Approximately, one out of five men worked in craft or similar industries, conversely, only small proportion of women was employed in these fields.
Furthermore, clerical & related jobs were also a profession where many women was employed (31% of total), and In contrast, only 5% of male workers appointed these jobs. Just small minority of males and females employees worked in other non-manual jobs (11% and 6%, each). Additionally, the least popular jobs among the men and women workers was general laborers with only 2% of males and 0,5% of females employees reported working in this sector.
