The chart delineates the production mechanism of electricity by using geothermic power.
As is presented, electricity manufacturing is a linear process which consists of three stages taking place in the Earth’s interior and two stages in the surface, with the start at cold water.
At the beginning of the process, cold water is stored in a container, waiting to be pumped down into the injection well, which is placed at the depth of 4.5 km in the Earth’s inner. From there, the water goes through a geothermal zone covered with hot rocks in order to raise the water heat, before flowing into the second well called production well. It is these very steps that form the characteristic of geothermal power’s production.
Afterwards, water with high temperature in the well is pumped up into a bigger container in the surface, which is used to condense hot water into steam. Subsequently, the steam coming from the condenser powers a turbine, whose spins acts as a physical agent to activate the generator. Finally, the generator converts mechanical energy into electrical energy, which is then is transmitted to a high tension pole.
