Overall, there are six main steps in the manufacture of cement; meanwhile, the production of concrete requires two stages, starting from adding some ingredients and ending at mixing them altogether.
The cement-making process begins when the amounts of limestone and clay put in a crusher to turn into powder. The following steps involve mixing them before being channelled to a rotating heater. After heating, the resulting mixture was ground in a grinder to create cement and the final product is wrapped into several bags for further purposes.
Regarding the concrete production, it requires four raw ingredients. The gravel accounts for 50%, the highest amount, followed by the figures for sand, water and cement, recored at 25%, 15% and 10% respectively. Finally, all the selected materials are blended in a rotating machine called concrete mixer to create concrete for construction works.
