The diagram details the process of making leather products.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The picture depicts the process of how animal skin is produced into several leather products. Overall, it is readily apparent that the process comprises eleven stages, starting from the drying process of animal skin and finishing with the final products.

In the first step, raw material, animal skin, is dried before being transported to a raw material factory using a lorry. The skin is then washed using a liquid composed of water and lime. After that, it is soaked into lime liquid and subsequently, the skin is flattered using a pressing machine.

Following that, the flattered skin experiences a second soaking process using a liquid consisting of water and vegetable matter, resulting in tanned skin material. Before the skin is transported to a production house, the skin is polished by a tool. Finally, at the factory, the skin is tailored into several consumer goods, such as leather shoes, bags, and balls.
