Given are two diagrams highlighting the steps and machinery employed in making cement as well as the production of concrete for construction purposes.
Overall, it is clearly evident that, the manufacture of cement entails five main stages; beginning with raw materials and ending with packaging in bags. Producing concrete however, involves virtually two-step approach with only four ingredients.
Regarding the making of cement, firstly, limestone and sand as raw materials are formed into powder through a crusher. After this, the powder then passes through a mixer to be flamed in a rotating heater. Once heated, the resultant product is grinned in order to finally achieve cement, which are then packaged into bags and transported to construction sites.
Moving on to how concrete is produced, 15% part of cement, a tenth of water, a quarter sand and half proportion of gravel are needed. All of these are added together in a cylindrical drum to whirl around until concrete is attained.
