The first chart below shows how energy is used in an average Australian household. The second chart shows the percentage of greenhouse gas emissions which result from this energy use.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The first pie describes the energy consumption of an Australian family in percentage and the second pie is about the information of greenhouse gas emission as a consequence of the first chart.

According to the pie charts, six energy sources are mainly analysed. A household spends the majority of the whole energy usage on heating, covering up to 42% of the first pie chart, although it covers only a quarter of the total gas emission in the second chart. Meanwhile, water heating has 30% of energy usage while it has the largest proportion in the emission chart.

Surprisingly, the second largest greenhouse gas emission comes from the usage of other appliances with 28% although the devices are not mentioned whilst it only has 15% of the first chart. Greenhouse gas is mostly emitted from the refrigerator as it doubles the percentage of its actual usage in the household. The other energy usages such as cooling and lighting describe only as the smallest fractions as in around 2% to 10% in both charts.

To sum up, the overwhelming usage of heaters does not contribute to the majority of greenhouse gas emission while it is mainly covered by the usage of water heating other devices and refrigerators.
