The given diagram presents information about the current state of parenthood in Australia.
Generally, the majority of births ( 66%) are born to married couples, in contrast to only 34% of births born to unmarried couples.

The second pie chart illustrates the marital status of new mothers aged under 25 years old in Australia.
As it can be observed, a majority of 72% of young new mothers are unmarried, and just above a quarter of births are born to married new mothers.

The average age of new mother in Australia is 30.7 years.
The diagram also presents the different types of families with which children below 15 years live.
An overwhelming majority of children ( 83%) live with both parents ( couple family ), while 15% of them live with their mothers only ( lone mother family), and only 5% of children live with their fathers only ( lone father family).
It can be concluded that the younger the new mother, the more likely to be unmarried, and most children in Australia live with both father and mother.
