The line graph indicates the general consumption of American energy by six fuels from 1980 to 2030.
In general, it is can see from the graph shows that uses of petrol and coil, coal increase about 10 quadrillion units over 50 years, while other fuels rise slightly around 5 quadrillion units.
In 1980, petrol and oil occupied the highest proportion of consumption energy in the USA staying at 35 quadrillion units but it fluctuated from about 30 to 35 quadrillion units during the next 15 years, then it had been keeping increasing since the year 1995. It has predicted that it will reach approximately 50 quadrillion units in 2030.
On the other hands, uses of coal and natural gas stay the middle level on the whole, which occupied nearly 16 and exactly 20 quadrillion units respectively in 1980. Although, both of these consumption fuels had been rising smoothly and reached about 25 quadrillion units. However, coal fuel has predicted that it will rise to approximately 30 quadrillion units in 2030 while natural gas will stay remains as the same level in this period.
Finally, uses of nuclear, solar/wind and hydropower were the lowest, which are the same units of being about 4 quadrillions in 1980. It has predicted that hydropower will stay remain the level over 50 years while both nuclear and solar/wind will rise but it is not significant.
