The graph provides information about the expenditure of residents from US and Britain on fuel in three part of society including poorest, middle-income and richest.

Overall, residents of US have spent significantly more money on fuel in all their groups which an exception of richest group which spent slightly less than on UK, and the maximum amount of money spent is almost two times bigger in US. Moreover, the highest amount of income spent on fuel is accounted for poorest in US, whereas richest in UK spent the highest amount of their wage on fuel.

To begin with, the figure for British citizens has an upward trend starting from poorest at 0%, and reaching at 4% in middle group. Afterward, it has shown a fluctuation, and reaches its peak around 4% in the wealthy group. So, the more rich they are, the more they spent money on fuel.

Regarding of United States, it has an opposite pattern of UK. The proportion of salary spent starts from around 4% and reaches its highest in poor part at almost 5.5%. Then, it has experienced a gradual fall until it has ended at about 2.8% which is its bottom in rich part.
