The graph below shows the amounts of waste produced by three companies over a period of 15 years
The above line graph compares three different companies A, B, and C regarding their waste output over a 15-year period from 2000 until 2015
In general, the waste amounts of companies A and B were lower in 2015 than those in 2000, while the figure of company C showed a continuous growth throughout the research period.
At the starting point, Company A’s figure was highest (12 tons) compared to almost 8 tons and 4 tons for Company B and C respectively. Over the following five years, Company A dropped steadily by around one ton. By contrast, in the meantime, Companies B and C showed similar trends of the rapid increase, reaching to nearly 10 tons and 4 tons severally.
During 2005-2011, both companies A and B declined sharply, with the number of company A falling to approximately 8 tons and company B’s number was down close to 3 tons. At the same duration, after undergoing a sustainable rise and surpassing the waste amount of company B at almost 7 tons in the year 2010, Company C jumped over 9 tons at the end of the period.
