The graph below shows the consumption of fish and different kinds of meat in a European country between 1979 and 2004.Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.Write at least 150 words.

The line graph gives information about how much fish and meat have been consumed in a special country in Europe from 1979 to 2004.
As can be seen from the graph the consumption of all the products decreased except the chicken experienced a significant increase in the whole period.
The consumption of beef was nearly 220 grams per person per week in 1979 while it fell sharply to just over 100 grams in 2004. In addition the changes for lamb was as similar as beef, while reached at almost 60 grams per person per week.
Out of the four products, the largest consumption of fish and some kinds of meat went on chicken. It can be seen that there was a dramatic increase to just under 250 grams per person per week in 2004.
The trend of fish in the whole period declined slightly by approximately 30 grams per person per week and also it levelled out in comparison to other products.
