The graph below shows in percentage terms the changing patterns of domestic access to modern technology in homes in the U.K.

The graph presents the changing patterns of domestic access to modern technology in home in UK in the terms of percentage. All the four types of assess approaches exhibited increment for those years. It is obvious that the access of CD player in home showed steady increment and ended up with the increment of over 80%. Likewise, the trend of home computer was upward and achieved the increment of nearly 60% in 2003. There were two periods of fast development of mobile phone in 2000 and 2002, from 30% to 50% and 50% to 70%, respectively. It is noticeable that the increment of Internet access rose significantly. In 1999, only 10% increment could be observed and four years later almost 50% increment was accomplished. For those years, CD player is the most popular kind of access approach, followed by mobile phone, home computer. Although the Internet increment was lowest among them, it is anticipated that it could reach up in the following years.
