The graph shows the number of boys and girls playing sport in an English town in 2012.

The provided bar graph illustrates the different kinds of sports played by both gender(boy and girl) in the town in England in the year .

In general, it can be clearly seen that, the football was played most by boys, where as swimming done by majority of girls. But, hockey was played least among all other sports by both gender.

As can be seen, total of four sports played most by boys among girls. 60 boys played football while only around 20 girls showed interest in this game. Apart from this, Tennis was played by 50 boys where as only 35 girls played tennis. Similarly, in cycling nearly 40 boys participated and in opposite its nearly half of the boys. Among all other sports both gender showed least interest in hockey which is approximately 15 and 10 respectively.

On the other hand, the sports in which girls had taken parts more as compared to opposite gender were swimming and badminton. The remaining two sports in which both showed a difference of about 10 between genders. As 50 girls preferred in swimming as compared to only 40 girls in badminton.
