The graph shows the number of visitors to four international museums between 1980 and 2015.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The information plotted in the given line graph shows a variation in the numbers of visitors who attended four international galleries over 35 years. Those museums are the Louvre, Vatican Museums, the London Science Museum and the Shenzhen Museum.

According to the graphic, the first two most visited museums in 1980 faced a climb in visitors, while the others witnessed a downward trend. The Louvre maintained its first place in popularity, having near 10 million people passing through its doors in 2015. Close to this figure is the Vatican Museum. If in 1980 there were 2500000 fewer visitors between it and the French one, by 2015, this difference became almost inexistent.

Among the least favourited museums, London Science Museum is the only one that experienced a gradual decrease in sightseers. Starting from about 4 million people, by 2015, the number dropped to approximately 2 million yearly. Meanwhile, Shenzhen's visitors' number fluctuated but never surpassed 4000000.

Overall, between 1980 and 2015, the Louvre kept its first position in visitors choice, even if recently the Vatican Museums caught the interest of almost the same number of people.
