The graphs below show the percentage of the highest level of education of Chinese women in the year 1990 and 2004. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparison where relevant.

The given pie charts elucidate the proportions of the highest education level of Chinese women in the year 1990 and 2004 respectively.
Overall, the primary five degrees for Chinese women are university, college, senior high school, junior high school and elementary education. We can easily distinguish a considerable change between the given two diagrams.
In the year 1990, only 5% of Chinese women can got university education while 10% of them had college degree. The proportion of senior high school degree just reached 5%. We can see most of Chinese women in 1990 only had junior high school education or elementary education while both of the percentages were 35%.
Compared with the situation in 1990, the highest level of education of Chinese women in 2004 had greatly improved. University education had the largest proportion which reached 30%. The percentage was 6 times larger than that in 2004. Thanks to the improvement in education these years, half of the women in China were able to get college education and senior high school education while both of the proportions were 25%. The figure of junior high school decreased from 35%to 15% while the smallest number of elementary education was just 5%.
In conclusion, thanks to the improvement in education these years, the number of Chinese women who can have tertiary education are increasing. The degree of women in China are getting higher.
