The graphs below show the size of ozone hole over Antarctica an the production of three ozone damaging gases from 1980 to 2000 Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant

Two line graphs illustrate the area of ozone layer hole in Antarctic and the emission of three types of ozone harming-gases in the 20 years period.
Overall, the first graph had an upward trend, except a small drop in 1995. In the second graph, CFC 12 and N20 similarly had an upward trend while the third factor’s trend was downward.
Regarding the first chart, it quadrupled from 400 in 1980 to 4000 thousand square kilometer in 2000. The number grows gradually to 2000 thousand square km in 1990, then enhanced more significantly to the peak after decreasing slightly to 1500 in 5 years.
Concerning the remained chart, the production of CFC-11 was the most remarkable trend: It consecutively accounted for the highest number in the first five years, then declined dramatically about seven times to become the lowest number in the graph from 1995. By contrast, the usage of the CFC-12 was nearly doubled, from 13 million tones two 60 million tones in 2000. N20, despite the later departure, had a greater increase to 40 million tones in 10 years. During the survey, the gap between these two gases was noticeable closed.
