Overall, Fish and Chips had a dramatic fall in the number of times Australian teenagers consume fast foods, while Pizza and Hamburger had a sharp inclination at the beginning and stood steady for the last five years of the report.
Out of the three types of fast foods in almost three decades, Australian adolescence preferred Fish and Chips, that was eaten one-hundred times in 1975, whereas, Pizza and Hamburgers are approximately eight and ten respectively. While Fish and Chips started at the top, it had a period of volatility around 1980 to 1985 and progressively declined through the years and stopped at almost forty, being the lowest among the three.
On the other hand, there is an opposite trend with Pizza and Hamburger consistently inclined from 1975 until the year 2000. Started being the second from the first year of survey, Hamburgers became the fast food of choice among teens around 1987 at one-hundred one. While the trend for fish and chips continued to descend from 1985, Pizza became the second popular easy to get food, reported to have been consumed eighty-five times last 2000.
