The graph provides information about the amount of manufactured and consumed oil in China from 1982 to 2006.

It can be seen from the graph that the figure of oil production was higher than the production three-quarters over the period. Meanwhile, the usage of oil remained stable in majority of nearly 25 years.

In 1982, China produced two millions of oil barrels per day. After four years, the creation of oil had a slight increase to 3 millions of barrels each day. From 1986 to 1994, there was no changes in the quantity of consumed oil; nevertheless, this number recorded in 2006 was about 3.5 millions, proved that the oil production went up minimally.

On the other hand, the consumption of oil had a significant growth from the late 90s. From the same initial number, there was a marginal rise in 1990 at more than 2 millions barrels per day. After 1990, it witnessed the fastest growth, which was 6 millions of oil used a day, ranked the first place in the line graph.
