The line graph shows the size of the global population from 1400 to 2000, and the pie charts show the global population by region in 1900 and 2000. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

In this infographic, there are 3 charts (a line graph and 2 pie charts). The presented line graph clearly presents the number of people, measured in billions, around the world between 1400 and 2000, while the pie charts well compare the proportion of people by each 6 selected parts of the world in 1900 and 2000.
In the given line graph, it is evident that the figure of world population increased from below 500 million in 1400 to about 1.3 billion in 1700 and then dipped slightly to 1 billion in 1800. After that, there was a growth in that of those to 6 billion in 2000.
In pie charts, it can be explained that in 1900, most of the population (60%) were Asian; however, this proportion declined gently in next one year (54%). Similarly, the number of European decreased from 24 % to 14 % throughout those mentioned years. On the other hand, the figures of Latin American and those of African rose by 5 % and 8 % respectively a decade later. Finally, it is interesting that the percentage of people in North America and those of the left parts almost levelled off at 5.5 % on average.
