The bart chart illustrates the propotion of boys in two different age groups who took part in 5 different activity in the UK in the year 2010.
Overall, boys aged 6 to 10 did more of each activity than 12-to-16 year-olds ( except for swimmning). Another visible trend is that, both two groups swimming were equal.
Football was much more preferred by boys between 6 and 11 years old than by older boys. The figures were 87% and 78% respectively. Likewise, basketball also attracted boys aged 6 to 10 than 12-to-16 year-old boys. In this activity, younger boys joined 35%, whereas the finger for older boys was 25%. 45% of boys boys between 6 and 11 years old participated cricket, compared to 34% 12-to-16 year-old boys.
The percentage of boys in both two age groups took part in swimming were equal, at 19%. In contrast. The propotion of boys aged 6 and 11 years old played rugbyed was 23%. The finger for older boys were lower, at 21%.
