The pie charts illustrate the rate of arrested of men and women in between five years ending 1994 year, while the bar chat depicts the main current reason of arrest for both genders.
Overall, as per the both chart, males were arrested more than females and public drinking was the main reason of arrest for both genders.
To begin with, males were detained much higher than female, approximately one-third compared to females. Turning to the reasons for most recent arrests, there were some clear reasons between men and women. Men are arrested roughly in twice in the case of drink driving compared to women, at 26% and 14% respectively. Similarly, Breach of order, theft and other reason were also slightly higher for men, they exceed by roughly 6%, 4% and 1% respectively.
However, women experienced higher rate of arrest for public drinking and assault. The figure of assault was likely 18% and public drinking represent the main reason for detained for women at around 38% compared to 31% to men. As, below 5% men and roughly 7% women did not answer for the reason of their crime.
