Strikingly, it is observed from the pie chart that 54% women in poverty who were single as well as no dependant children and half of the females were in poverty with dependant children. Moreover, the 12% of married women with children suffer from poverty which was followed by 8% females who married but no dependant children.
Moving towards the bar graph, itis vivid that poverty rates among children (0-5 years) is almost same that is 21%. Moreover, the percentage of poverty between males and females decreased to nearly 15% under the age of 17 years. On contrary, the proportion of poverty in women were increased to 20% which is 5% more than men poverty in the age of
18- 24. However, poverty rates by sex were decreased by 5% till the age of 74 years. Then, the proportion of poverty of men was decreased to 7% and in the women was increased to nearly 12%.
Overall, it can be stated that mostly poverty rates were higher in women without children. On the other hand, men were less suffer with poverty in all age groups.
