The plans below show the layout of a university's sports center now, and how it will look after redevelopment.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

The plans illustrate the layout of an athletics center of a university as it is now, and how it will appear appear after it is refurbished.

Overall, the sports center will be expanded a lot from its original size. While the outdoor courts will make way for this development, the old interior facilities will pretty much stay in their place.

Presently, the complex consists of an entrance in the south, which leads to the reception area. Through the reception, we enter a large pool area, which has a changing area to its left and seating arrangement to its right. A large gymnasium can be found in the very north of swimming area.

The future renovation plans show a terrific amount of new amenities and extensive refurbishment of existing structures. The covered area will be enlarged on both sides, omitting the open outdoor spaces. Directly to the west of main gate will be a sports shop and to east a small cafe. The north west and east corners will become changing rooms, while the original stays as it is. The new exciting leisure pool will occupy west wing of the compound. In the east, we will find a large hall and two dancing studios for the pleasure of dance aficionados, because why not?
