The provided table shows data about six different languages which are spoken by people all over the world
In general, Mandarin Chinese and English are the most spoken language compared to the others. While there are fewer people who speak Hindi, Spanish, Arabic and Portuguese. The number of Portuguese is the lowest one.
Mandarin Chinese has the total number of speakers of over 1 000 million, followed by English with the figure being slightly lower, at about 942 million. The total number of speakers who speak Portuguese is the lowest at 213 million, half the figure of Spanish and Hindi. In term of number of native speakers, Mandarin Chinese also has the largest number, at 900 million, while the lowest figure are Arabic and Portuguese, just around 203 million.
According to the table, the number of people who use English as a additional language is the highest, at 603 million, while that of Portuguese and Arabic are lowest, only 10 million and 24 million respectively.
