The table below gives information about the daily cost of water per person in five different countries. (Figures are based on the minimum daily requirement per peron of 11.5 litres.)

The table compares the amount of money paid by a person for daily water services in five different countries and how much it costs them in comparison to their average daily income. Overall, it is readily apparent that water utility costs in Tanzania and Uganda were the highest among the countries and this figure also made up the largest proportion of average daily income used to pay for water services in these countries.
To begin with, Tanzania and Uganda had the most significant amount of money needed to pay a person for the daily cost of water (the former accounted for $6.4 cents and the latter responsible for $ 4.1 cents). These costs made up 5.7% of the average daily wage in Tanzania and 3.2% of the daily average income of people in Uganda. Furthermore, the amount of money paid by Pakistanis for daily water utility costs was $1.76 cents and this was around 1.1% of the Pakistani average daily income.
Conversely, the British and Americans spent the least money to pay for daily water services ($1.3 and $0.85, respectively). In terms of the percentage of average wages used for paying for the water service, it only cost 0.013% of the daily income of people in the UK and 0.006% of the daily average income of people in America.
