The table illustrates which vehicles people from four different countries use while the bar graph gives information about the reason why Canadians choose cars as the main vehicles to commute.

Overall, as can be seen from the table, car was the most common means of transportation, while other vehicles contributed a more insignificant part to the given figures. Meanwhile, in the latter chart, the most popular pretext of people using cars was that they had no other alternatives.

Cars accounted for the most in the table, especially in Canada where the number reached 90%. In the meantime, the percentages in Belgium and Germany were 72% and 68% respectively while the lowest point of this vehicle was 47% in Netherland. However, the ratio between bicycle and car was more than 1:2 in Netherland; on the other hand, the number never outraced 2% in the other countries. Simultaneously, public transport made the most noticeable contribution-18% in Germany and the least- 3% in Canada. About 18% of the population of the Netherland traveled on foot compared to 11% of that of Belgium and Germany; only 5% of Canadian citizens chose to go on foot. The other vehicles only made up negligible parts in the table, without any figures exceeding 3%.

In the latter chart, it was clear that 38% of Canadian residents resorted to cars because they had no other choice. Meanwhile, the need for work was the second most popular reason with 40%. Convenience took up above one-fifth of the population while 12% of people claimed they wanted to be quicker. Work night shift, at the same time, only reached 7%.
