The table shows the tourist numbers and tourist spending in five countries in 2012 and 2013. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The table compares the number and expenditure of tourists in five countries in 2012 and 2013. The information can be grouped into Europe and Non-Europe zone. It is obvious from the data that the expenditure from tourists in each countries in 2013 was higher than in 2012.

To begin with Europe zone, it consists of France, Spain and Italy. There were an increase in both tourists number and tourists spending in all of them. The number of tourists and tourists expenditure of Italy was the lowest in all countries both in 2012 and 2013. Spain saw a significant growth in number of tourists from 57.5 to 60.7 millions which was the most increasing rate from five countries and a moderate increase in tourists expenditure from 56.3 to 60.4 billion dollars and Spain was still the highest in both of them in Europe zone.

Moving on to Non-Europe zone, the tourists number and expenditure of USA went up dramatically by 3.1 to 69.8 millions and 13.4 to 139.6 billion dollars respectively and USA was the highest in the number of tourists and tourists spending from all countries. China is the only country which has less the number of tourists in 2013 than in 2012. The tourists number decreased from 57.7 to 55.7 millions but there was an increase in tourists expenditure between 50 and 51.7 billion dollars.
