Essay topics:

(The table) The table shows the production of milk annually in four countries in 1990, 2000 and 2010. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

The picture illustrates the amount of milk which was produced each year in Netherlands, Australia, Tanzania, Guatemala in 3 different years 1990, 2000 and 2010.
What stands out from the table is that while the production of milk in Netherlands, Tanzania and Guatemala witnessed a progress, the opposite trend was true for Australia. In addition, the dairy industry’s output in Netherlands always ranked the first throughout the period surveyed.
Starting at 11.262.000 litres in 1990, Netherlands was the country which produced the highest amount of milk. Between 2000 and 2010, there was a significant surge in the production of milk in Netherlands from 11.155.000 litres to 11.466.000 litres. Lower a little bit was the output of milk in Australia with 11.246.000 litres in 1990. After a considerable plunge in the next 10 years, this figure continued to experience its downward trend to 9.165.000 in 2010.
Regarding to the two remaining countries, Tanzania produced 3 times higher than Guatemala with 87.000 litres in1990. However, both of the countries saw a substantial upsurge in producing milk to 1.55.000 litres and 84.000 litres after the time of 20 years respectively.
