Task 1
The table shows the numbers of views for sports programs on TV in the four countries, namely Australia, UK, USA, and Canada. Generally, the numbers of views are different four the four sport categories across the countries.
UK and USA are the two countries with higher views for sports (20.3 and 25.2 million) than Australia and Canada with only 17.4 and 14.5 million respectively. Within each nation, the type of sport with higher or lower views also varies to a large extent. In the US, for example, while golf has 11.2 million views, motor racing gets a fairly low number of views, only 1.5m. It is the same for Canada, where the figure for tennis is 6.1 and motor racing is 1.1. Interestingly, motor racing has a high view rate in the UK accounting for 6.4m, but golf does not (2.8m).
Overall, there is no consistent pattern for sport views on TV in the four countries.
