Essay topics:

The two maps below show road access to a city hospital in 2007 and in 2010. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The images illustrate how to access a given city hospital between 2007 and 2010.
As can be seen in the diagrams, there is a significant upgrade from 2007 to 2010 so it can provide more spaces to park both public and staff cars and an additional bus station for public transport.
Looking at the diagrams in more detail, the car park in 2007 was for both staff and public cars. In 2010, the old car park was dedicated only to staff cars and an additional public car park was added in the east of the city hospital. In addition to this, two roundabouts were added in 2010, one in front of the city hospital and one at the crossroad of City Road and Hospital Road.
To provide more accommodation for public transport, seven bus stops in 2007 were removed and a new bus station was added on the opposite side of the staff car park in 2010. The bus station can access the two added roundabouts in the Nord-East and South-East entrances.
