The two maps below show road access to a city hospital in 2007 and in 2010.
The given map illustrates the changes of routes that took place to reach the city hospital from the year 2007 to 2010.
From analysing the maps, we can see that through the years that though the hospital remained the same, the car parking facilities has improved, as well as the infrastructure of the bus station.
During the year of 2010, both the staffs and the public had the inconvenience to park in the same location. Even the bus stops were cluttered on either side of the hospital road.
As the years passed, the access to the hospital improved. Two new roundabouts were constructed in south of the hospital. These roundabouts are linked to the bus station (situated to the west) through two separate lanes. Though the ring road remained the same, the parking facilities improved as the staff car parking was separated from the public car parking, which is situated towards the east of the hospital.
