Dear Sir/Mam,
I am writing this letter to express my gratitude for the job offer in your esteemed company. I felt extremely delighted to receive the offer letter as I found the job description quite challenging and interesting.
But unfortunately, I am not able to accept this responsibility due to my personal reasons. From the offer letter I happened to know that you have recruited me for the Manesar location which is very far off from my current residence which is Noida. Manesar is around 50-60km from Noida and it takes around 1.5 to 2 hours to commute from Noida to Manesar. Being a patient of cervical spondylosis, my doctor has strictly advised me to avoid long hours travelling. So, it is extremely difficult for me join your Manesar office. Also, I like my current job a lot because of the work content and no travel time. My current office is hardly 10 minutes drive from my house and I have the flexibility to work from home as well. I can manage both my office and home quite efficiently and without much stress.
I hope you would be able to understand my situation and would offer this job position to the next best suited candidate. Thanks for considering me for this position.
