I’m writing to ask you about taking one week off from my work. As you know, I’ve been preparing for my PhD in Surveying for a long time.
Now I need some time to finish my preparation, visit my tutor and finally, pass my exam. I think that Jack will able to cover my duties, while I’m busy with my studying. I have already given him all instructions he needed to succeed in this job.
I would appreciate you providing me with one week unpaid, while I’m absent. I also want you to know that my position in company is very important for me and I look forward to collaborate with you in future. Moreover, I want to discuss with you some improvements I want to provide in our manufacturing when I complete my education process.
