Dear Ms Gomes,

I am a student from Saint Andrews college and live in a college provided accommodation at Hart Foundation Youth Hostel on Belarus Street 5. I am writing this letter requesting for change of my room from twin sharing to a single room.

Presently, I am sharing my apartment with a 3rd year engineering student ms. Susan Silva. Unfortunately, from past 3 months, it has been very difficult for me to focus on my studies and project work. she is a very social person and has uninvited friends at the apartment every weekends to have parties till late night. she does not like doing her laundry regularly and hence, often borrows my clothes without my permission, which I dislike. I have an important entrance exam for enrolling for Masters’ Program as Kellogg’s University coming up in the month of November and need a quiet place to prepare. Therefore, I wish to move to single room.

Trust you will understand my current situation and would give me a suitable room at the earliest.

Yours sincerely,

Ray Mantis
